When the MDT ESS Chassis System was released, it redefined what a precision rifle chassis could be. Its innovations like the M-LOK forend, ambidextrous magazine latch, and XTN buttstock interface, shaped the design language of the MDT chassis that followed.

Comfort was the driving force behind the ESS design. Our team spent countless hours redefining the ergonomics. The polymer grip at just the right angle, the wide thumb rest and the octagon-shaped forend all contribute to a natural, secure hold for the shooter.

But we also recognized that there is no true one size fits all. Our solution: customizability. The M-LOK enclosed forend is available in 4 different options: the no rail forend which is included, a full rail and a partial rail option or the carbon fiber version. The ESS Chassis System comes out of the box with a MDT Pistol Grip Elite, however it offers compatibility for most other AR interface grips. The same goes for the included MDT SRS-X Buttstock which can be swapped out for any of our other XTN interface buttstocks, or using our MDT Buttstock adapter, any of the other interface buttstocks.

The ESS Chassis System stands as the foundation of modern precision shooting, engineered for comfort, balance, and complete adaptability. It’s a platform that not only redefined what a chassis could be but continues to set the standard for those who demand precision without compromise.
